It's been a while since I've posted anything so I thought I should update my journal.
Unfortunately I found out of Friday that I'm being made redundant at the end of January, as a student I can only get a part time job, which are even harder to come by than full time ones (judging by what I've seen advertised. On top of that I can only look for jobs on the bus route as my boyfriend still has my car because his has been broken for 3 months. Things do not seem all that promising...
On top of that my printer broke at the beginning of the week (canon mp190) - this is the 3rd printer in just over a year that has broken on me and each time it's been faults with feeding paper. The first printer was a brother, the last two have been canon's and the canon's seem to have terrible rollers which wear down to the metal with very little useage.
I'm off out to buy a new printer this afternoon as I need one to print out some CV's even though now is the time I can least afford to be buying things. Just the way life goes I suppose. Incidentally has anyone else noticed how all consumer printers have terrible reviews? In the end none of the printers I looked into seemed brilliant so I just went with an epson (no way I'm buying canon or brother again) that was relatively cheap with relatively cheap cartridges. Got it on reserve at PC world (checked around to make sure I'm getting the best price).
